Our community is only as good as the volunteers who serve on the various
committees. The Fountain Hills Community Association Board of Directors
is seeking adult residents to serve as volunteers on the following committee(s)
In the past, members of these committees have contributed
greatly
to the attractiveness
of our community by working with the Board, the
management company, and (where applicable) various contractors to maintain
and improve the Fountain Hills community.
If you are interested in voluntering, please provide your name, address
and telephone number to Stephon
Collins at Vanguard Management. No special skills are needed, but
please highlight any special interests or experience you have in your
message to Stephon.
Are you planning a home improvement project such as a new deck, patio
or fence? Please be aware that all modifications to
the exterior appearance of your Fountain Hills home,
including some landscaping
changes, require HOA approval. In fact, many of these
changes also require a permit from
Montgomery County Department of Permitting Services
and/or Maryland National Park and Planning Commission.
Official architectural guidelines for Fountain Hills have been developed
for the community. You can obtain a copy
of the guidelines here or call Vanguard Management at 301-540-8600.
If you would like to modify the exterior of your home,
you must submit an application for
exterior modification for review by the Fountain Hills
Architectural Review
Committee (ARC). This committee — comprised of your
Fountain Hills neighbors — meets on the fourth Tuesday
of each month to review all applications.
Applications must be submitted via Vanguard Management and be received
at least one (1) week prior to the monthly ARC meeting. Please visit
the following web sites for more information:
The Association, in conjunction with Vanguard Management, offers anelectronic
payment, or “direct debit” as a convenient method for payingyour
monthly assessments. Direct debit is convenient and
an efficient mechanism for you to makeyour regular
association assessment payment. It will reduce
the time andeffort put in to writing checks. It is
also the best way to ensure that your payment is received
on time and will take away your
worry about the weather, postal delays, holidays, vacations
and other unexpected circumstances.
A Direct Debit Authorization
Form is available
online.
The form must be completed in its entirety, signed,
dated and returned along with a
voided check (account from which your assessment payments
are to come) to Vanguard Management, P.O. Box 39, Germantown,
MD 20875-0039.
It is IMPORTANT
that you read the entire agreement carefully, especially
the Frequently Asked Questions, as there are definitely
responsibilities about which
you should be aware, particularly notification about
stopping the direct debit.

Pet owners are reminded that they should
walk their pets away from neighbors homes, playgrounds
and high-traffic areas. Without continued vigilance
by residents, deposits of animal waste could become
a significant nuisance and a potential health hazard.
Montgomery County law requires that
pets should be on a leash or under the owner’s
control at all times. County
Law also requires dog owners to
pick-up and properly dispose of dog waste.
The Board asks residents to please pickup and dispose
of papers and other trash that might be found in common areas, easements,
roadways and alleys near your home.
Windy trash and recycling pickup days often lead to the
scattering of trash, newspapers, plastic bottles, etc. Thank you for
helping keep Fountain Hills Community clean.
Please be aware that County collection
regulations require that all materials prepared for
collections must be at curbside no later than 7:00am
on your designated trash and/or recycling day. All materials
prepared for
collection must not be set out earlier than 5:00pm
the day before your collection day. Recycling containers
must be removed from the collection location no later
than 5:00pm the day after. more>

be displayed on any vehicle not parked in the resident's number spaces
or, for garage townhomes, on the resident's driveway or in their garage.
Vehicles not having a properly displayed hang tag that
are parked in
unnumbered spaces overnight will be subject to towing, subject to
Montgomery County's towing ordinance. Please review
this policy carefully.
